There is something especially meaningful about photographing motherhood on film.
Last month I had the joy of documenting a beautiful Vancouver studio maternity session with a mother who was 28 weeks pregnant and her energetic two-year-old son. As a Vancouver maternity photographer, these are the kinds of sessions I love most: honest, playful, and full of real connection.
From the moment they arrived, the studio filled with movement, laughter, and the kind of unpredictable magic that only happens when a toddler is involved. It was playful, spontaneous, and completely real, exactly the kind of moments I love preserving.
And this entire session was photographed on film.
