Mystic Beach LGBTQ Elopement - Chels & Amy

Elopements are my jam. I love capturing love stories and the connection that ties two people in love. This styled shoot has a special place in my heart because it was shot in beautiful Victoria in a dreamy Airbnb and for the outdoor location we chose Mystic Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen in my life. The light was just incredible and the moment we shared was so magical.

My photography work focuses on storytelling, I love shooting life as it unfolds. The precious moments that can’t go unnoticed, I’m there to photograph them. I’m there to make you feel alive on one of your most important moment of your life. 

Chels & Amy were so sweet to meet and model for me for this styled shoot. They are a local Victoria couple, Amy is originally from England but now living in Victoria with Chels.

I connected with them through Instagram, we had a chat on Skype and we met last February to spend a day together, shooting their love and commitment to each other. In fact, they’re actually getting married this 2020 summer in Victoria and the styled shoot, we could say, it was a test for the actual wedding ha ha. When I was photographing their vows, I noticed a tear on Amy’s face and I just couldn’t not be touched by that intimate moment. I had a tear as well coming down on my face.
