For four years, I had the privilege of capturing one of the most significant moments in people’s lives—weddings. But in 2023, something changed for me. The birth of my daughter, Amelie, shifted my perspective in ways I never anticipated.
As I watched her grow, I found myself becoming more attuned to the simple, fleeting moments of our everyday life. I no longer saw the world in terms of grand events, but in the quiet beauty of a smile shared at breakfast, the tiny hands reaching up to touch the world, the soft light in the early morning. Suddenly, I was more interested in the raw, real, and imperfect moments—those everyday instances that we often overlook but that shape the fabric of our lives.
This was the moment when I realized: This is what I need to capture. Not just the highlights, but the ordinary that makes life extraordinary.
For me, photographing families, newborns, and parents-to-be has become an act of storytelling. I want to celebrate the legacy of these families—capturing their unique connection in a way that feels real, intimate, and true. I’m not here to create perfectly posed pictures; I’m here to photograph the feel of the moment—the messy, the magical, the unplanned. Because when I look back at my own life, those are the moments I’ll cherish the most.
What started as a personal journey of reflection through the lens of my own daughter’s growth has grown into my true focus and passion.
