Caulfield Park family photos // Family photos by Lorenza Tessari

On a peaceful day at Caulfield Park in West Vancouver, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family of three, with their six-month-old baby, in one of the most stunning natural settings. Surrounded by rocky outcrops, lush greenery, and the gentle embrace of the ocean in the distance, it was the perfect backdrop to capture the authentic love and connection they share. As the parents held their little one close, I was able to document the sweet moments of tender affection — the baby’s joyful giggles, the soft gazes between the parents, and the way they all simply fit together, so naturally.

For me, it’s not about perfection, but about capturing the true essence of family — the quiet moments, the spontaneous laughter, the loving touches that make each family unique. This session was a beautiful reminder that life’s most meaningful moments often come in the simplest forms: the gentle hand on your baby’s back, the look of wonder in a parent’s eyes, or the way the family moves through the world together. At its core, this session was about more than just taking photos; it was about creating lasting memories that reflect the heart of this family’s journey.

The natural beauty of the park, with its rugged rocks and ocean breeze, was the perfect complement to the warmth and love that this family shares. I’m so grateful to have been able to capture these authentic moments that they’ll treasure for years to come — memories that will be passed down for generations to relive the magic of their bond, just as it is today.

Wardrobe notes: mom’s dress and baby outfit are part of my client closet! Everyone who books a full session with me gets free access to my wardrobe, which includes a small selection of gorgeous options for women, children, and babies. I’ve curated this intentionally over time so that busy mothers of all stages have flattering, stylish options that photograph beautifully, at no additional cost. I save families who use my wardrobe hours of time shopping and hundreds of dollars on unnecessary new clothes. Ready for a session where your family is coordinated beautifully but with zero stress? Send me a message!

I’m Lorenza. I’m a photographer based in Vancouver, BC, where I live with my wife and our one-year old daughter.

I’m obsessed with photographing families and celebrating the legacy that they are building – the one that is more important than anything else they will ever build in this life. I love capturing my clients at their beautiful best, yet never abandoning the raw and real. Neither is better than the other, and a great session is the perfect mix of both.

Say goodbye to stressful family sessions, underwhelming images, and wasted time. Instead, get ready for a seamless experience, plus photos you want to hang all over your walls – because they capture the heart of your family, and the beauty of the legacy that you’re building… and you all look amazing, too.

It’s so much more than taking pictures – it’s a celebration of the biggest treasures that life has to offer: loving, and being loved. Get to know more about me or send me an inquiry. I’d be so honored to create some magic with your family in front of my lens!

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT LORENZA

I am a family, newborn and maternity photographer in Vancouver, BC where I live with my wife Ilenia and our one-year old daughter, Amelie.

Since I was a child growing up in Italy, I've had an unwavering love for photography. Some of my fondest memories are of afternoons spent flipping through my grandmother and mum's photo albums — collections of family vacations, weddings, and celebrations of life.
I’d get lost in the pictures, studying the details, and reliving those moments through the images. I remember rushing to the local photography shop with my disposable camera, determined to preserve as many memories as I could through film. Little did I know then, that my love for capturing moments would grow into a lifelong passion.
Fast forward to today, and my journey in photography has evolved from a personal hobby to a meaningful career. But at its core, the love I have for photographing life is still about preserving moments that matter. That’s what I bring to every session: a deep appreciation for the significance of the memories we make every day, and a commitment to capturing them authentically.
